THE CONSERVATORY
The Northern Virginia Performing Arts Conservatory is an audition only pre-professional training program dedicated to cultivating the next generation of artists through rigorous, industry-informed instruction in acting, voice, and movement. Founded by award-winning theatre educator Anthony Cimino-Johnson, the conservatory offers a supportive yet challenging environment where students ages 15–19 can grow artistically, academically, and personally. With a focus on individual growth, ensemble collaboration, and college/career readiness, the program is designed to prepare students for success in collegiate performing arts programs and beyond.

The Northern Virginia Performing Arts Conservatory is a premier, audition-only training program for serious young artists ages 14–19. Limited to just 24 students, the Conservatory offers intensive, college-level instruction in acting, voice, movement, and performance.
Founded by nationally recognized theatre educator and Tony Honorable Mention recipient Anthony Cimino-Johnson, the Conservatory prepares students for college auditions, conservatory programs, and professional careers in the arts.
What Students Receive:
Small class sizes & personalized mentorship
Training in character development, vocal technique, choreography, and audition prep
Masterclasses with Broadway, film, and television professionals
College audition workshops, portfolio development, and networking opportunities
A fully produced mainstage production each season
