Auditions happen on the first day of camp. Students are encouraged to sing 30 seconds – 1 minute of a song (singing is encouraged but not required). Roles with solos are selected from the songs.
Dance call included — no dance experience required. Call-backs for specific parts; students may request to sing for a part if not called back.
No auditions for one-week camps.
Two entrances depending on your camper's grade — please use the correct one to keep the morning flowing smoothly.
Drive up to the front of the hotel at the conference center and into the bus loop. Students will be unloaded and picked up from there.
Drive around to the back of the building and drop off in front of the Northern Virginia Performing Arts Main Venue.
Only approved individuals may pick up students. ID may be required.

As performances approach, rehearsal blocks become more production-focused.
Students should bring their own lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle daily.

Director of Health & Safety. A Loudoun County theatre parent who has supported programs for many years, Katie has been part of Broadway Bound since 2016 — this is her 12th year with us. Her daughter attends the Institute of American Musical Theatre. Katie brings 30 years of experience working with youth and families.

Our staff includes theatre educators, directors, choreographers, music directors, teaching artists, counselors, and interns. All staff training covers safety expectations, supervision, and emergency procedures. Ratios are structured to maintain active supervision and instructional support.

For urgent situations, families are contacted immediately using emergency contact information. Parents are also notified about injuries, significant behavioral concerns, medical situations, or major emotional concerns.

Administrative support is generally available during standard daytime business hours throughout the summer.
Please contact the camp office for urgent matters rather than contacting students directly. Please refrain from contacting campers during the day — it can be disruptive to the rehearsal process and overall camp experience.

Dress to impress — every day has a theme. Bring the energy, costumes, and theatre kid chaos.

We strive to provide all students with a part that will help them grow. Sometimes that includes a speaking role, sometimes a singing solo, sometimes a dance solo. Every student will be in the show and have comparative stage time.
Campers will be busy throughout the day as teachers split casts into different groups to rehearse different parts of the show.
