Our Junior company brings the full one-hour Broadway adaptation to the Loudoun Auditorium at the National Conference Center for a one-weekend run — four performances across three days.
Doors open 30 minutes before each performance. Tickets on sale soon — check back for details.
Tuesday evening rehearsals from September through January — with a mandatory Tech Week the week of the show.
Frozen Jr. rehearses once a week on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:45 PM — a manageable schedule that leaves the rest of the week free for school, sports, and family.
During Tech Week (January 25–28), the entire cast is called every evening from 5:00 to 8:30 PM for full-company tech, sitzprobe, and dress rehearsals leading into our opening-night performance on Friday, January 29.
One weeknight commitment until Tech Week makes Frozen Jr. one of our most family-friendly productions. Principals (Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, Hans, Sven, Oaken) may have occasional additional calls for music or scene work, but the bulk of the cast follows the Tuesday-only schedule. The director publishes weekly call sheets so families can plan ahead.
Is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

“The cold never bothered me anyway.”
A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Disney’s Frozen Jr. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood.
Based on the 2018 Broadway musical, Frozen Jr. brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life on stage. With a cast of beloved characters — Olaf, Kristoff, Sven, Hans, Oaken, the Bishop, and the Hidden Folk — and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart.
The score features all of the memorable songs from the animated film with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT-winner Robert Lopez — plus five new songs written specifically for the Broadway production. From “For the First Time in Forever” and “Love Is an Open Door” to “Let It Go” and “Fixer Upper,” the music your family knows by heart comes to life with a full ensemble of young performers.
This 60-minute Junior Edition has been carefully adapted for young performers, with vocal arrangements and a script designed to showcase the range and energy of ages 9–12.
A heartwarming family musical — suitable for all ages.
Frozen Jr. is a joyful, song-filled family musical that audiences of every age can enjoy together. The story explores themes of fear, isolation, and reconciliation between sisters — handled with warmth and humor throughout. Younger viewers may find the brief storm sequences mildly intense, but the show ends with the bright, hopeful resolution families know and love.
