A gentle, joyful first-show experience for our youngest performers — one weeknight a week, plus a mandatory Tech Week leading into opening night.
Frozen KIDS rehearses just once a week — Wednesday evenings from 5:15 to 6:45 PM — making this the perfect first show for busy young families. Every child is a featured performer, and every child has a part.
During Tech Week (January 18–21), the entire cast is called every evening from 5:00 to 7:30 PM for full-company tech, dress rehearsals, and final polish leading into opening night on Friday, January 22.
The 30-minute KIDS version uses the songs your child already knows by heart — “Let It Go,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” “Love Is an Open Door” — in a script designed specifically for our youngest performers.
No audition required — placement is by grade level. Every cast member is called to every rehearsal, which keeps it simple for families and builds wonderful friendships. Our directors pace the experience for joy, confidence, and a beaming opening-day smile.

“Do you want to build a snowman?”
Do you want to build a snowman? Designed for elementary-school students, Frozen KIDS is a 30-minute adaptation of the 2018 Broadway musical, which was based on the 2013 Walt Disney Animation Studios film written by Jennifer Lee and directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee.
The production features all of the songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by the creators of the film score, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT-winner Robert Lopez. You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the celebrated animated film.
Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production.
